On World AIDS Day, an AIDS and TB prevention and awareness program was conducted by IIM Sirmaur and Community Action for Rural Excellence (CARE) NGO (Paonta) for students, staff, and faculty of the institute.

The event revolved around the main causes and preventions of TB, AIDS and HIV. The event also highlighted the precautions to be taken in the form of antibiotics and tablets. This awareness initiative also focused on how our emotional health is affected in addition to our physical health. The event ended with a pledge against the use of substances that are the main causes of TB and AIDS.
