Overview
The Post Graduate Programme for Executives on Leadership in Smart Manufacturing (PGPEX-LSM) is a collaborative effort between IIM Sirmaur and RWTH Aachen. This program aims to develop management leaders with expertise in smart manufacturing, combining the managerial strengths of IIM Sirmaur and the technological prowess of RWTH Aachen.
The objective of this program is to develop management leaders focused on manufacturing excellence spearheading and contributing to the global technological advancements. The thrust of the programme will be assimilating knowledge the following areas for Indian manufacturing:

Admission
Admission Criteria
- Bachelors in (B. Tech./BE/B. Sc./allied fields) with 50 percent marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA awarded by any of the recognized universities/IITs At least 3 years of manufacturing-related experience in manufacturing or allied areas, e.g., Shop Floor/IT/Teaching/Entrepreneur/etc. (After completion of graduation).
- At least 3 years of shop floor experience in manufacturing or allied areas (After completion of graduation)
- Minimum Age: 25 years
- Valid GMAT/GRE/CAT Score (Taken within last five years)
- A minimum of 500 in GMAT
- A minimum of 300 in GRE
- A score of 50 Percentile (Overall) in CAT
- For other participants, an aptitude test will be conducted by IIM Sirmaur
- Application Fee: Rs. 2,000/-
Admission Process
- Initial screening of applications based on the admission criteria
- Aptitude test (Basic Engineering Questions, Quantitative Ability, etc.) for the shortlisted candidates without valid and qualifying CAT/GRE/GMAT score
- Personal interview for the shortlisted candidates
Candidates completing the programme successfully from both the institutes will be awarded certificate during the Annual Convocation

The Indian Component of the fees include: Accommodation (Single occupancy air-conditioned room for each participant in a hostel), All study materials, campus events, induction and convocation events, expert talks and industry visits
The German Component of the fees include: Accommodation (2-bed rooms for participants in a hostel), teaching incl. all study materials, laboratory courses and excursions, social events, welcome orientation and farewell event, company/industry/institute visits and/or expert talks, lunch on weekdays, all meals during social events and local public transportation ticket in Germany. The fee for the German component of the programme needs to be paid directly to RWTH Aachen.
