IIM Sirmaur hosted a talk by Mr. Rahul Sharma, Head Director of Technical and Derivatives Research at JM Financial Services, on the theme “Ahead of the Curve with Technical Analysis.”

Mr. Sharma emphasised that while generating wealth is an outcome, the true focus should always remain on refining the process, and fortune will follow. He inspired students with a powerful analogy, stating that once every 5-10 years, one might find themselves just three feet from gold, and to recognise such pivotal financial phases, an individual should have a good hold on technical analysis and emotional control in making sound financial decisions. His insights on graphical trends, patterns, and technical indicators offered students a compelling perspective, guiding them on their journey into the world of investing.
