IIM Sirmaur became operational in 2015, mentored by IIM Lucknow, and is one of the newest Institutes in the IIM family. Now empowered by the IIM Bill 2017 with unprecedented autonomy, IIM Sirmaur is all set to revolutionise the way management education is delivered in India.

We offer the best application-oriented Problem Based Learning (PBL) pedagogy designed and delivered by the country’s sharpest minds. From the 2020-21 Academic Year, our curriculum will support blended courses incorporating the best MOOCs available in the various subject areas.

IIM Sirmaur is working towards integrating management studies with technology, liberal arts, and other allied areas in the social sciences. The batch of 2020-21 will have the opportunity to choose from brand new courses, workshops and activities that increase their exposure to the data sciences and train them in highly important but often neglected soft skills. Analytics, Big Data and Artificial Intelligence will have a special focus in the coming years in addition to skill-building courses in the areas of leadership, communication and culture.
